The Suffolk TA Network annual conference 2024, will take place on
Wednesday 16th October at Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre,
Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, IP3 8UH between 9.00 and 15.00.

This day of professional development for pupil-facing support staff in Suffolk will focus on Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), specifically dyslexia and dyscalculia. We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with the Suffolk
County Council Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Service.

The conference will open with a keynote speech by Arran Smith entitled ‘What is Assistive Technology?’. This will be followed by a series of SpLD themed workshops, and the conference will end with a panel discussion with a selection of specialist speakers.

The first half of each session will be dedicated to theme-specific input, including resource recommendations, updates, strategies, signposting to training etc. The second half will then be available for professional networking, where you can share strategies and ideas with colleagues from other schools in Suffolk.
