Dyslexia Specialist Network 2023-24

A half-termly specialist networking opportunity for pupil-facing support staff who have a particular interest in dyslexia. The first half of each session will be dedicated to theme-specific input, including resource recommendations, updates, strategies, signposting to training etc. The second half will then be available for professional networking, where you can share strategies and ideas with colleagues from other schools in Suffolk.

The sessions are being held online for members of the Suffolk TA Network.

Wednesday 31st January 2024 – Creating a SpLD-friending learning environment

Wednesday 20th March 2024 – Study skills and exam arrangements

Wednesday 1st May 2024 – Writing and ways of recording

Wednesday 19th June 2024 – Co-occurring visual difficulties

These sessions will be 9.30-10.30 for secondary-based TAs and 13.30-14.30 for primary-based TAs.
